Dutch Courage met pianist Cyrill Ibrahim over personal branding

Op donderdag 30 november is er weer een nieuwe De Ruyter. De zestiende avond in onze reeks ‘Dutch courage’ waarin we in samenwerking met Spaces een spreker aan het woord laten om over hun werk te vertellen.

Deze avond staat in het teken van muziek en personal branding met pianist Cyrill Ibrahim.

Cyrill is een pianist, lifestyle blogger, orkestleider en virtual reality startup founder die met personal branding zijn muzikale talent heeft uitgebouwd naar deze andere tereinen.

Cyrill begon z’n carrière als concert pianist maar is inmiddels ook een lifestyle influencer met zijn blog The Cultured Gentleman, mede-oprichter van het World Harmony Orchestra en heeft een eigen startup voor pianolessen via virtual reality.

Hij zal vertellen over hoe hij zijn personal brand heeft uitgebouwd en de verschillende onderdelen aan elkaar heeft verbonden.

Cyrill is geboren in Rotterdam in 1984, heeft daar ook het Conservatorium doorlopen en is er in 2009 cum laude afgestudeerd. Hierna heeft bij Andrew Ball zijn Master in Performance gehaald op het Royal College of Music. Cyrill’s debuut album, ‘Dialogue’, bevat werken van Bach, Debussy, Schubert en Schumann. Meteen na het uitkomen van het album werd hij ‘Artist of the Week’ op BBC Radio 3.

 

 

 

De locatie is deze keer uiteraard weer Spaces Oxford Street, de co-working space van Nederlandse bodem. De bar gaat open om 18:00, de spreker begint om 19:00 en we eindigen om 20:30. Daarna zitten we ergens om de hoek in de pub.

De presentatie is in het Engels dus neem gerust mensen die geen Nederlands spreken mee.

Toegang is gratis maar voor dit evenement is wel een RSVP noodzakelijk dus laat even via Eventbrite weten of je denkt te komen.

Cyrill Ibrahim is a concert pianist, lifestyle blogger, orchestra leader and virtual reality startup founder who used personal branding to extend beyond musical talents into these very different areas.

Cyrill started his career as a concert pianist, but didn’t stop there. He has extended his musical career to become a lifestyle influencer with his blog The Cultured Gentleman, he co-founded the World Harmony Orchestra and has his own startup to teach the piano using virtual reality.

At this talk Cyrill will be taking us through the steps he took to build a personal brand and tie these different areas together.
